Groundbreaking at Smith Village

Smith Village broke ground on the modernization of its Beverly facility on Chicago’s Southwest Side on October 17, 2019. The Johanson Wing, built in 1991, is being modernized to convert double-occupancy rooms to private suites and rooms and to add a three-story extension. The 10,204 sf extension will have therapy rooms on the first floor and dining rooms on the second and third floors. The Johanson Wing provides nursing care and housing for short-term-stay rehab residents and the modernization will provide more privacy.

Smith Village is owned and operated by Smith Senior Living.
