Plymouth Place Phases 1 & 2

Chicago, Illinois

Eventus was originally engaged to lead a master planning process to address certain existing common areas of the Community and a plan for the replacement of existing independent living cottages that were no longer marketable. The process included conducting focus groups and a charette to vet design options and a phasing plan that would accomplish the client’s objectives. The master plan and related financial analysis were completed at the end of 2020. Subsequently, Eventus was engaged to manage the implementation of the Master Plan that includes a new Center for Healthy Living (CHL) with dining venues and various activity areas and 59 Villa units in five new condominium type buildings. The Villas and CHL will be completed by the end of 2023 and certain renovation will extend into 2024.

Eventus has been engaged to complete a master planning process that began with an architect developing some concepts for the complete replacement of a 300 bed nursing home with substantially downsized nursing care and the addition of assisted living and independent living to become a CCRC. The planning process is currently underway that includes solving the financial challenge of developing a feasible configuration for each level of care and the sequence of development on a very constrained site. The planning is expected to be concluded by mid-2024, subject to zoning approval. Eventus would then provide development management services for the implementation of the Master Plan.

Carroll Lutheran Village

Westminster, MD

In 2021 Eventus began a project to advance design and procurement methods and the financial feasibility of a new project on the Carroll Lutheran Village campus. LSM plans to build two hybrid buildings with 10 independent living units per building and renovate an existing apartment building, which will include HVAC replacement, common space improvements, and enlargement of several units. Concurrently, Eventus is assisting in the evaluation of renovating the existing Nursing Center.
